My journey into academia was triggered by curiosity for complex social questions and throughout my career I have delved into a diverse range of topics: urban segregation, migration dynamics, ecology and the evolving landscape of education within urban settings. Beyond my research ambitions, I am deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of scholars. Serving as a thesis supervisor and lecturer has allowed me to share my knowledge and foster intellectual growth among aspiring students. My expertise extends to writing and editing academic texts, policy analysis, conducting interviews, and utilizing various research tools. I have authored and contributed to numerous influential peer-reviewed articles and books.
